For a local restaurant, Madeleina has been great. Tea in china pots, cups, saucers. Excellent service. My wife and I make this a must on our visits, hope you do too. Breakfast has been excellent. Dinners better than you could expect. Tonight we had prime rib and shepard's pie. The prine rib was outstanding, better than most we have in Massachusetts for twice the price. Service was attentive, personal, and more than you would expect. We want them to be a success, put them to the test. You will enjoy! Five stars because of consistency and value. Prove it for yourself!!

Visited with my wife on a slow Saturday before 'season'; we're locals. I had a burger and she had the chicken curry. Both meals came out very quickly and tasted fresh; the burger was quite good. The curry I actually could have gone a bit more spicy on so I'll ask for that next time; they probably keep it a little tame for the typical audience in that neighborhood. Edit; have been back several more times since then and the curry has been great; can't stop ordering the same thing. Fortunately my wife varies things a bit so I try whatever she's eating too. Drink-wise, they had a great happy hour well drink special even though it was Saturday; a stark contrast to the beach bars that feel the need to rip you off on Fri/Sat/Sun. Tried a 'cadillac' margarita too; was a little too much mix but the bartender was happy to top it off so I was happy. Rum & coke was made strong. I'm very picky about drinks and if I feel I'm getting ripped off it will basically be the last time I go to a place, and I'll be going back to Madeleina for sure. Note; there's a one star review from someone who has never even been here; she just chose to call them out based on a news report from four years ago. Useless review; the place is clean from the bar to the booths to the bathrooms.

What a lovely place to discover right here on the beach. Food is very fresh. Wait staff is very attentive and friendly. Food arrived fast for lunch and was quite tasty. Soup was totally homemade and so, so , so yummy. This is a treasure of a place that I never knew served lunch!!!! Check it out.

Took my wife for her very first English breakfast, thankfully she only ordered the half, I went the whole hog and had the Full English...omg it was humongous, just about finished it all, great food and reasonable prices

My boyfriend is here from England and has been feeling a bit homesick. After trying other "British" restaurants in the area, he told me that he couldn't handle another disappointment. He was so glad that I am determined to find him a bit of home. He ordered the roast dinner with Yorkshire pudding and absolutely loved it. The look of enjoyment while he ate made me grin from ear to ear. I had the chicken philly and that was also yummy. We will definitely be back to try the Full English breakfast. Service was amazing as well.

Breakfast here is hands down the best kept secret on St Pete Beach. Huge portions, gourmet quality, prompt and courteous service, spotless restaurant. Food worth crossing the ocean for right in your backyard. Cumberland sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and french toast: each mouthful exquisite.

Wonderful restaurant that's family owned. We ordered crab cakes that were made to order. Probably the best I've ever had. My wife ordered the chicken Madeline and she loved it. I had the filet and it was soooo tender. We will be back. The service was great we actually were served by the owners daughter who was very nice. What a great find. I will recommend this spot to everyone.

Quiet little area of St. Pete's Beach with the most amazing lump meat crab cakes and friendliest service. Reasonable prices were just a bonus! Highly recommend!!!

The vibe is just fine, and the colors don't clash, The service was quick like a 50-yard dash, My meal was outstanding (had the bangers & mash), And they happily accept either credit or cash.

My wife and I just returned from this fabulous dining experience. We ordered the crab cake appetizer which was the best I have ever had. The proprietors of the restaurant were warm and welcoming and appreciated our coming to dine at their establishment. The main course of roast beef and Yorkshire pudding was superb...enough to feed more than two people so we boxed up our leftovers for another meal. Best of all, the price was quite inexpensive when considering the freshness of the vegetables and the tenderness of the meat. Dinner for two and drinks with tip was $47.00. Who can top that considering the quality and quantity? We will go back often since the menu is diverse with numerous choices to make it a time consuming chore to choose right platter. You will miss out if you don't try this place.

Very good. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon when we stopped, so not sure how it might be when busy or during the high tourist season. The food was excellent.

Best kept secret! I love this place for breakfast! Never busy and the prices are inexpensive while the portions are hearty! Eggs Benedict are my fave while my husband enjoys eggs and bacon. The biscuits and gravy is something to brag about!! And the Bloody Mary's do the the trick! I usually sit at the bar and have gotten good service.

Although the first review is valid, all restaurants have issues...but the quality of food/service was not discussed - allow me.... On the recommendation of family who have visited before, we came for breakfast, and this place was fantastic. Service was great (Gary Scott the owner served us himself)....the coffee rivals big bean stores, and my Benedict was great. If you like homefries, do yourself a favor and get them, best I've had in years. There are few places for breakfast that are good these days, and Madeleina's is on the short list of places you would be crazy to pass by. YELP !!!

Loved the trout! Service was outstanding especially since it was packed with spring break visitors. We went there for a birthday and they were able to accommodate a dish that was no longer on the menu, thanks Paige! We will be back. PS loved the fun drinks served at the bar!

Went here for breakfast twice while staying at a Sunset Beach cottage on Treasure Island. The food was very good and was served hot at our table outside where we ate because we had our two small dogs with us. The service was excellent and the restaurant and restroom were immaculate. Reasonable prices, good food and exceptionally clean, all reasons that I would go back here whenever I am in the area.

My daughter is at Eckerd College so we ventured out to try some of the local shopping and restaurants. We happened up Madeleina Cottage at lunch and we were encouraged after seeing the menu offerings. They had a complete line of authentic Brit dishes including shepherds pie, toad in a hole, bangors and mash, fish and chips, etc. With some many tempting dishes, I decided to start with homemade spinach soup, garlic toast, and an order of fish and chips. Our server was the perfect host and our beverage glasses were never empty. My appetizers and entree were delicious and portions were satisfying for even the hungriest of diners. The atmosphere is interesting with a night sky theme painted on the ceilings. Good food, great service, very reasonable prices.
